Recorded live on the nights of January 17th, March 3 & March 4 in the year 2017 at the Carpetland II Studio in State College, Pennsylvania. This is the first in a 3 volume installment of recordings salvaged from a hard drive. They are live recordings of jam sessions we would have at the house all the time back then. There are a number of individuals, mostly known Carpetland & Crater affiliates staffing the various instrumental stations. On one song we actually don't know who is playing besides the drums & synth though so please let us know if you do. Most importantly, the majority of this stuff has got our late friend, Carter Freije drumming his ass off all over it, as if animated by the noble winds of eternity. He set the standard for us in many of ways & it is apparent in these recordings how much he inspired us all to expand the limits of our realities. We all love and miss him a whole lot. While it's painful still to no longer have the privilege of sharing this plane of existence with Cart, the impact he had on those who knew him is an immortal legacy. He was the most caring, disciplined & naturally gifted person one could hope to have their fate become intertwined with. In his memory, we'll be donating sales from this record to the Carter Freije Memorial Fund through the AFSP. If you wish to donate directly, there's a link below.
